CHWCMR - Stanford Youth Diabetes Coaches Program

We are working with Stanford University to educate high school students about diabetes and how to help someone with diabetes take charge of their health. The teens acquire knowledge of diabetes, develop communication skills, and learn health coaching techniques. Each student selects a diabetic family member or friend who agrees to work with the student once weekly outside of school over the 8 weeks of the course.

CHWCMR is working for The program is being implemented online with students from Granger High School (group 1, Yakima county) and Skagit & Tri-cities counties (group 2).
