The COVID pandemic has been especially difficult for our essential workers and their families in Washington State- many of them are migrants and refugees fleeing their home countries for safety. Their children have already experienced trauma in addition to the pandemic due to the isolation from it created. Therefore, CHWCMR started an Art Therapy Program "Painting Together Program' in January, 2022.  Children with their parents joined the classes across the state. Join us to celebrate the works of these families and to listen to a piano from one member of our communities.

We also invite you to make a donation, everything is welcome, all the money from this program will be invested in canvas, paint for the participants , who use art therapy to bring up their feelings, bonding with their parents, and some ways to release their trauma. The younger age of our artist is 5 years and the oldest 57 years.
